Cathode Sun is the debut EP release from Ghostron, the solo project of Jeff Burchett.
This collection of three songs builds on forms and sonic landscapes familiar to fans of modern synthwave, creating a sound that is at once familiar and new. By favoring evolving movement to repeating verse/chorus construction and incorporating elements from many different genres, Ghostron makes music for the future that yesterday promised but never delivered.

Thanks to Marieke for putting up with all the noise, all the talk about synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, and other various nonsense, for the endless support, and for being the best wife I could imagine.
To Andrew, for the friendship, feedback, and for bringing me into the Ix fold.
To Kreestof, for many years of friendship, for helping me sweat the details, for your patience, and for always helping me to see (or hear) better.
To Robyn and Justin, for your friendship, sharing your music, and hanging out on Tangents.
